Get a wide variety of vegetables!  All vegetables contain different characteristics.  All of these characteristics come from the phytochemicals in them.  Orange vegetable contain a lot of carotenoids.  Green leafy vegetables contain other phytochemicals.

By using a non-dairy flavoured creamer such as Coffee Mate’s Hazlenut or Vanilla creamer, you can use a liberal two tablespoons and have your creamy coffee beverage for less than 100 calories!  Pour over ice and enjoy!

Explore the world of flavouring with little or no calories:   Pepper sauces, horseradish, mustard and Dijon mustards have little if any calories!  Not to mention the wonderful world of garlic, onions, scallions… oh man!  My mouth is having a flood!

Make it half.  How often do you finish what’s on your plate at the restaurant simply because you don’t want to waste it?  Split your meal with a friend or order half a sandwich.  You may get a dirty look from the waiter until they realise that you intend to tip for the full price!
